It's not far to go...

Sasha and I began our journey back to the States from Madrid this morning smoothly. Caught the metro to the airport, lugged our junk, checked-in for our flight two hours early, bummed about.
Technical difficulties, flight delayed. Trouble! I only have a two hour layover in London Heathrow and I need to switch terminals and go through security again, gah. Arrive in London at 12:10, my flight was supposed to start boarding at 11:55. As soon as our plane pulled into the gate I literally plowed through everyone and just started running...and running...and running...I didn't even get to say goodbye to Sasha :'( Finally got to the other terminal, then got to security, frantically asked a guard if there was a faster way through this enormous line...he ushered me to the fast track line, in all my panic I forget to take off my belt so I beep. Then its back to running again, stop and check gate, oh look at that I am departing at the very last gate of the terminal, running again.

Eventually get there and they are still boarding, *phew*. My bag didn't catch the plane to SFO and remained in London Heathrow (yet again, happened on the way to Italy too), it will supposedly be delivered tomorrow.

My parents were waiting for me outside of customs with a bouquet of flowers, so cute I almost cried...wellll maybe I teared up, shaddup.

I miss Alexandra already, we practically became the same person...a piece of me is missing!

I got some pretty ridiculous clothes in Italy, just wait until you see The Ugly Shirt, you won't say hi to me on quad if I'm wearing it, guaranteed, it is that ugly. Then there are the pink-pouf-t-shirt skirts, which are the epitome of silliness. Hey, I say I am not going to be able to wear/pulloff this stuff after I graduate and am officially an 'adult' so I mine as well liveitup and dress ridiculously now while I still can.

"I hope you didn't talk to any Italian boys...they are nerdy." - Grandma Heidenberger
"Of course...I will run with you wherever you go." - Sasha. Awww.

Amsterdam/Paris/Madrid updates to come? Perhaps. Time to time adjust.
